Well Dave has had "The Bone" Catheter Securement Device, on for about a week. He really likes it, so far. He has had two showers, and it is still holding. Much to my surprise. He also likes it for his skin, is just not liking dressing changes, to often. So the long it stay on the better. Plus it does not take up a much area, as far as tape goes. It is holding his catheter very well, has not pull on his site at all so far. His catheter, does not fit with the y in the center, we have to put the y on top of the holder, but keeps his line very secure.
Has anyone else try this?
Does anyone have any near things that you are trying or doing. I am all ears....
We just rigged Dave bag, so he will be happy with that. Everyday it something else we have to try to help him be happy.....LOL

That is great that the "Bone" works for you. I have heard of other people using them but hadn't heard if they worked well. Right now my daughter still a toddler so we pin her catheter to her clothes and then pin the line it's self to her bottom. But, soon we will have to have something that gives us more support closer to the site. I will definitely keep the "Bone" in mind. Thanks for sharing your success!

We use to pin my son's, line to his shirt too. But as he got older, we ended up with so many holds in good shirts. Boys will be boys....LOL I wanted to do this with Dave but he did not like the idea, being a grow man, LOL...Plus Cleveland would not let us do that. So we have been trying everything we could. I think the Bone would very well for the little guys. It is not very big at all, and seem to hold very well. Dave has had this one on for almost 2 weeks. Has been thru a number of showers, and still holding....I wish I had these with Shawn. Would have save me some money on shirts.....LOL Plus it will pull on the bone first, which pulls on the skin, so they know to stop what they are doing before pulling on the site itself.....
